The time has nearly come - Official Xbox Magazine will be moving over to gamesradar.com this week. From that point on, when you type in totalxbox.com, you'll be relocated to our new, shiny and totally unique landing page - you won't find anything but Xbox on there.
Was to be a 360/PS3 Soul Reaver successor.
Footage of a cancelled Legacy of Kain game, Dead Sun, has appeared online, unearthed by industrious NeoGAF member Mama Robotnik. The axed game has been known about for a little while now (also thanks to Mama Robotnik), but this is the first time we've seen it in action.
Well, next but one - first, here's an angry golem.
As ever, the best part of this latest Killer Instinct character-reveal trailer is the sneaky coda, which reveals the star of the inevitable next video. But before that, let's take a little look at Aganos the golem, whose hobbies include smashing his opponents and growing moss.
A good look at combat, nighttime, camping and more.
It's weird that a demo is one the best JRPG prospects of the year - and by 'demo' I mean Episode Duscae, the FFXV teaser free with the first copies of FF Type-0. Weird but good, as it looks better every time Square Enix show it off.
Get your cogs in gear, it's puzzle time.
Steampunk is the new black. There's something really appealing about the mix of Victorian gentlemen, clockwork, brass and fantastic moustaches that keeps game designers coming back. The Order 1886, Dishonored, Thief, Myst, Bioshock Infinite, Pathologic, Steamworld Dig - all set in various incarnations of that lovely steampunk world. Is it a sign of the times? Yes, definitely. We all wish that we were gloriously moustachioed robots. Who doesn't?
Killer Instinct, Halo: MCC and more temporarily discounted.
Microsoft's Ultimate Game Sale already offers a nice bundle of games for a bit less money, but they're supplementing it with a few bonus discounts available for this weekend only.
Team Ninja's new-gen port isn't having the breast of starts.
Dead or Alive's absurd boob physics and skimpy outfits arrive on Xbox One (and 360 again) today in the form of DoA5: Last Round, a port of the old game with some new extra gubbins thrown in too. Unfortunately, it appears to be suffering from major crashing and freezing problems, at least on Xbox One.
Trials' level editor continues to amaze.
People are using super-hard motorycle torture game Trials Fusion to make some amazing things. We've already shown you this functioning, albeit limited, version of Minecraft made using the level editor, but this latest clone might be even more impressive.
Alien: Isolation leads with six nominations.
Get your posh frocks on, it's BAFTA time. Not the BAFTAs, with all the fancy actors and the entire cast of Downton Abbey and the likelihood that you'll be in the pages of Heat with a caption like "who is this ugly, badly-dressed rando?" - no, not that BAFTA event. It's BAFTA Games, which is still filled with lovely people, they just don't tend to pretend to be other people for their job.
Play one of the last few Battlefields, get some free digital stuff.
EA are to reward returning Battlefield players with a small bag of goodies if they decide to pick up Battlefield Hardline.
Now arriving in early April.
The CARS in Project CARS are so damned CARS-y they demand ALL-CAPS, a level of respect they've earned by looking real fancy, sticking two exhaust pipes up at inclement weather, and going well with the music of Beethoven. Now, to look their CARS-iest they've announced another game delay, through their spokespeople Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad.
Talk about 'tanks for nothing'.
We've teamed up with Wargaming, creators of World of Tanks, to celebrate the release of the gritty war film Fury, in which Brad Pitt is a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy. The film will be available in Digital HD on February 16.
You no longer have to bother with phone app to unlock those blue chests.
The modern trend of supporting games with companion apps and tie-in website thingies reached a sort of boiling point with Assassin's Creed Unity, which upon launch required you to take part in both in order to access the many blue and gold chests dotted about Paris. Before Christmas, Ubisoft unlocked the Initiate web service ones for everyone, and now they've done the same with the many blue companion app chests.
Why don't you take a screenshot, it'll last longer.
"Tell us, Grandma Kate, what was it like when you were young?" "Well, my dears, for a start we didn't all wear sunglasses to protect ourselves from the swollen sun. Also, we couldn't control time. Still not sure how anyone managed to figure that out. But the worst part - the bane of our lives - was that we couldn't take screenshots. We would gather in groups and take it in turns to scream at the sky. Whyyyyy? Why, God, why?"
Giant sale on Xbox One and 360 games now live.
I appreciate the exuberant naming of Microsoft's Ultimate Game Sale, which discounts loadsa games on both Xbox One and Xbox 360 because, well, because why not? There are big-ish savings on Alien: Isolation, Costume Quest 2, Kinect Sports Rivals, Terraria and more.
Ghosts sold separately.
This is definitely the helmet Master Chief would wear if he was riding a motorbike. Also if he was riding the bus, or taking a shower - for all we know he never takes the damn thing off. From July this year, it's also a helmet you can wear on a real-life motorcycle, thanks to the National Entertainment Collectibles Association, of America.
Watch FIFA, COD, CS:GO and more being played competitively.
esports - or, if you prefer, eSports - becomes a bigger deal with each passing year, to the point where even unskilled people such as myself sometimes consider giving Counter-Strike: GO a, er, go in a bid to become an instant multiplayer legend. My plan might need work, but I'm considering it again with the news that the UK will get its first dedicated esports venue next month.
Armour tell you, this re-treading of old games is great - and you don't have to shell out for it!.
Imagine Battlefield, but all the men are tanks, all the planes are tanks, and all the tanks are... still tanks. Then imagine that all these tanks bear grudges against their fellow tanks, and have a strong desire to send them off to that big tank warehouse in the sky. That's World of Tanks, basically. Pretty much does what it says on the tin.
Xbox One version of spin-off being considered.
Re-Logic and Engine Software have announced a new Terraria game - but it's not Terraria 2. It's a spin-off set in an alternate dimension, one that necessitates a bit more plot and has fancier weather effects.
1970s-set game where you control a constantly revolving limo.
Let's get straight to it: No Goblin's action-splat-adventure-open-world-puzzler Roundabout looks absolutely crazy. In a very good way. It's set in the 1970s, and tells the story of one Georgio Manos, "arguably the world's most famous revolving chauffeur". The arcadey premise reminds me of Crazy Taxi, there are regular FMV sequences - oh and it's coming to Xbox One this week. Friday, in fact.
