Above is our first glimpse at a new, retro stage for the next Smash Bros. game. It's based on the NES title Balloon Flight and, as was the case with that game, if you walk off the edge of the screen, you'll appear from the other edge. This stage is exclusive for the 3DS.
In the recent issue of Famitsu magazine in Japan, Capcom has announced a new Ace Attorney game that's exclusively coming to the 3DS. For the moment, we know that it's named "Dai Gyakuten Saiban" and it's set in the Meiji era. You can see the first scan above.
Nintendo has updated Miiverse, adding a few new features. First, there's a "Posts from Verified Users" option at the top of the Communities screen. This, as the name implies, allows you to see posts only from verified users. Second, you're now able to search for communities based on the associated software title. Third, you can [...]
As confirmed through Nintendo's website, Picross e4 will arrive on the eShop in North America on the 1st of May. You can check after the break for screenshots.
Mario Golf: World Tour is coming soon to the 3DS and, if you're on the fence about the game, perhaps the Metacritic score will help nudge you in either direction — to buy or not to buy. The game currently has a score of 77, with IGN providing one of the most favourable reviews: You don’t [...]
Kirby: Triple Deluxe is set for release during May — the 2nd in North America and the 16th in Europe — and, to prepare, Nintendo has launched a new website for the game. It's packed with videos and details and you can check it out here. Or you can check after the break for descriptions of [...]
Within the next Smash Bros. game, most stages have a "final destination" version. This means the stage at the end of a match won't be the same as the stage at the start of the match. As explained by Masahiro Sakurai, this screenshot shows: ...the final destination version of Gerudo Valley. No more surprise visits [...]

For those who missed the most recent Nintendo Direct broadcast, which focused entirely on the next Smash Bros. game, the above video holds the entire presentation. I'll leave this post "stuck" to the top of the blog for a while but will continue publishing content below.

Since the next Smash Bros. game is coming to both 3DS and the Wii U, some of the most exciting features will surely relate to how the games connect. Unfortunately, as confirmed by Masahiro Sakurai during the recent Nintendo Direct event, these features will be announced "at a later date." I imagine we'll hear about [...]
