If you visit the Louvre in Paris, you're able to use a 3DS as your handheld guide fro the museum. This guide contains tours and commentary and other things to make your visit more educational (while still being able to go at your own pace). Maybe you can't make it to the Louvre though. If [...]
Masahiro Sakurai is the director of Smash Bros. which means it's his job to maintain a bird's eye view of the project and keep it moving in a consistent direction. He's not afraid to get his hands dirty in the trenches though. Here's what he shared in a recent interview with Polygon: In all previous [...]
There's more screenshots from Dragon Quest Monsters 2 that you can check out after the break. They're not too interesting if you don't understand Japanese but they're better than nothing.
Two Tribes has confirmed that EDGE is coming to the 3DS. A port of the Wii U version is in the works and two screenshots can be found after the break. You can also check out a trailer to see what the game's about.
This is sort of "well, duh" news story, but Nintendo of America has shared an infographic showing just how fast Pokemon X and Pokemon Y sold compared to other best-selling 3DS games. They certainly have reasons to gloat. You can check out the full image after the break.
If you want to spoil The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for yourself, there's a video after the break that shows off every single boss battle in the game. Personally though, I won't be watching it.
Mario Party: Island Tour is now available and there's ninety minutes of footage after the break to help you decide whether or not you want to buy it. You may also want to read IGN's review, since this is what they have to say: [The] single-player campaign is laughably bad, and the ambitious, content-rich multiplayer [...]
The folks at Nintendo Life have reviewed Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai, scoring the game 7/10 and sharing that the game "does a good job of paying homage to classic 2D and 3D platforming games in terms of gameplay, but it fails to quite deliver the same charm or appeal." You can click [...]
As you're probably aware, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is now available around the world and people are loving it. If you haven't picked it up yet, check out the launch trailer after the break.
A leaked image of a Target catalogue has confirmed that a 3DS XL designed based around Mario & Luigi: Dream Team is coming to North America. You'll be able to pick it up on December 2nd for $199.99 (which includes a preinstalled version of Dream Team).
Miiverse is coming soon to the 3DS, along with a shared eShop balance — two features we've been waiting a while for. But as recently confirmed, "Miiverse on Nintendo 3DS does not include friend request or user messaging features." So basically, don't expect Miiverse to be as full-featured as the Wii U counterpart. It adds [...]
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds has been receiving great reviews but some people are still divided on the art style. You can check the video out after the break to see how the game compares to A Link to the Past.
The first episode of Pokemon Origins is now online and can be found here. For those who missed the announcement, this mini-series tells the story of the original Pokemon games — Pokemon Blue and Pokemon Red. There's an old trailer for the series after the break.
As rumoured, the next Smash Bros. game will feature a stage based on Super Mario Galaxy but, despite what other sites are reporting, I'm not exactly sure why people think this stage is coming to the 3DS version of the game. The stages are supposed to be unique between each version of the game so, [...]
Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of many of our favourite franchises — Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, etc — has turned sixty-one years old on November 16th. I wonder if people buy him video games as birthday presents. (This is a little delayed if we consider time zones and everything but let's just pretend I didn't take yesterday off.)
During it's opening weekend, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y sold a crazy 100,000 units down here in my lovely land of Australia. This is compared to Black and White which sold "just" 80,000 units in its opening week. (via vg247.com)
We're only a few days away from the release of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and, while you wait, there's a new batch of screenshots to check out after the break. Enjoy.
We've known about a Kirby title coming to the 3DS for a while and now we know two important details: The game is called Kirby: Triple Deluxe. It's coming out in Japan on January 11th.
