After a few months of very few details, Renegade Kid has finally revealed their first-person shooter for the 3DS. It's known as Cult Country, and the official website can be found here. There's also screenshots after the break, including a QR code that can be scanned to see 3D screenshots.
It's now possible to preorder Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, which becomes available on the 24th of May. You can find it on Amazon.com (which is $5 cheaper than elsewhere), Best Buy, and GameStop. (via nintendoeverything.com)
For a while, games designed for older audiences were only viewable via the eShop in some European countries between the hours of 11pm and 3am. This was to provide an extra layer of defence against children seeing content not meant for them. Nintendo has lifted this restriction though, so the content can now be seen [...]
Last week, the PlayStation Vita sold 63,581 units in Japan, which made it the best-selling system in the region (even if the sales of the 3DS and 3DS XL were combined). The important question at that point though was, will it continue? But at least for the moment, it hasn't. The 3DS XL took the [...]
Nintendo has posted a small collection of photos of Shigeru Miyamoto in New York City where he was "hanging out with Luigi". You can check them out after the break.
Nintendo has announced that Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity is set to arrive in Europe on the 17th of May. This is a bit of a wait compared to the release on the 24th of March in North America, but at least there's a specific that Europeans can now anticipate.
Floorless, a member of the 3DS forums, has shared lots of footage from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. You can check it out after the break. Just be aware, parts of the game will be spoiled for you.
Nintendo has revealed that folks who visit PAX East on the Saturday will be able to purchase both Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity a day before the games are released. It might not be a huge span of time, but if you're at the event, you might want to [...]
Yacht Club Games, a collection of ex-WayForward developers, has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Shovel Knight and said that, if the game is funded, it'll be coming to both the Wii U and the 3DS. As of writing this, just under $35,000 has been raised, with a total goal of $75,000. The game itself is [...]
Nintendo has launched the first 3DS-centric community on Miiverse to celebrate the Year of Luigi. Folks who own the Wii U can partake in the official community for the Year of Luigi, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, or the Year of Luigi's developer's room. We've seen plenty of screenshots from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon so far, but what I believe are the first 3D screenshots from the game can be found here. Just visit that website on your 3DS to check them out.
If there's one thing The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask has been missing all of these years, it's been Nicholas Cage. But after all of this time, YouTube user Criken has shown us the way by creating a texture mod that paints Cage's face across various surfaces. The video's after the break. (And I agree, [...]
People have been begging for a new Eternal Darkness title for a while now, but our only hope is that, for the fifth time, Nintendo has extended their trademark for the name. At the same time though, the cost of keeping the trademark alive is probably irrelevant compared to how much it could cost them [...]
LEGO CITY Undercover: The Chase Begins is a 3DS-only spin-off from the LEGO CITY Undercover game coming to non-portable consoles, and Nintendo has confirmed the game will be available on the 26th of April in Europe. There's an old trailer for the game after the break.
The folks at GamesTM magazine have reviewed Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon in their most recent issue, giving the game a score of 9/10. This ties it with God of War: Ascension on the PS3 as the magazine's best-reviewed game for the month. It shouldn't be long before we can all judge for ourselves though. (via [...]
Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode, a port of Digimon World Re:Digitize for the PSP, is coming to the 3DS and has received a significant amount of changes.
