Windows 10 has been met with applause for its strong feature set and beautiful UI. However, it isn't perfect. Some users are reporting that certain games aren't running well on Windows 10.
In fewer than two weeks the sixth expansion for World of Warcraft will be announced. For some, this summons new interest in the aging game as rumors surge regarding what the next chapter of the game will bring. For others, it's a sign of desperation from Blizzard as its flagship title continues to lose subscribers by the millions. Below I'll explain why. An Early Announcement
Never in the history of World of Warcraft has an expansion been announced anywhere other than BlizzCon. Blizzard has regarded World of Warcraft as its primary title over the years due to its massive popularity, and has saved its expansion announcements for BlizzCon's massive stage where tens of thousands of fans are present. A standard dating back 10 years will soon be broken.
Bitsummit is an annual game conference and trade show in Kyoto, Japan, with emphasis on independent developers. The term "indie" has gotten a bit of a bad rap for whatever reason, but in terms of gameplay and concepts, the independent scene remains a huge source of innovation. Not all RPGs are created equal. Some are designed to tell a great story, and the RPG elements are meant as a means to an end. Others are made to give the player a challenge, with the story coming either secondary or not at all. Some are built around a unique battle system, and others a more standard theme with a variation here or there. While it's difficult to know exactly what information is going to be important for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, we do know the game is set in 1984, in the middle of the Metal Gear's history and lore.
