Usually, when I feel like a series or collection of series is just throwing out a cash-in title, I expect the worst:Ccharacters appear and spew one-liners, appear doing "their thing" (whatever that might be), and leave a bad taste in playerÄ‚Ë€â„Ës mouths as they head to the bank. The last few anime tie-in games IÄ‚Ë€â„Ëve played have been hit or miss, like the surprisingly fun . Thankfully, J-Stars Victory Vs+ is somewhere closer to the Battle of Z side of things, though with a little lesshellip; direction.
With Satoru Iwata's passing yesterday, what we are left with are the many memories he shared with us. For some that means anecdotes about how great he was to work with, but for many it means looking back at his charming presentations over the years.

During Nintendo's E3 2012 presentation Iwata was shown staring deeply into a bunch of bananas. Soon after a trailer showing off a reel of upcoming Wii U releases including Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, which the bananas referred to, was played. It was a bizarre moment that showcased Iwata's unmistakable charm and great sense of humor.

Unreal Engine 4 is a game engine with tremendous potential when put in the right hands. A recent Kite Trailer running on an Nvidia GTX Titan X showed one of the best-looking open worlds in history. Now, a graphically famished Mario—thanks, Wii U—takes to that world to see what next-gen graphics are like.

This year, Disney decided to show Disney Infinity 3.0 offsite during Comic-Con so fans could check it out even if they didn't have a Comic-Con badge. That's right, anyone who's in San Diego can head on down to 815 J Street during the day on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and play several playsets, including Star Wars Rise of the Empire, Star Wars Twilight of the Republic, Inside Out, and a whimsical cart racing game where players can pit any character from Disney Infinity 1, 2, and 3 against each other.
Crypt of the Necrodancer is a prime example of Steam Early Access done right, and now it's heading to PlayStation 4 and Vita according to a new PlayStation Blog post.
The unique rhythm/roguelike hybrid includes the same catchy soundtrack on the PS4 and Vita versions, but it also has an important addition. Shovel Knight composer Jake Kaufman will compose his own chiptune remix of the soundtrack, which players can use during the game.
