Microsoft has announced a few adjustments to the Xbox Live reputation system - that fearful existential barometer, slicing Xbox Live up into the Deserving and the Not So Deserving. Players who sink to the lowest reputation rank, "Avoid Me", now face a number of penalties, such as losing access to Twitch broadcasting.

Ladies, gentlemen, I bring good news and bad news. The good news is that this morning's Xbox Live service alert is no more - you should be able to access and play Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer and GTA Online just fine.

Microsoft announced DirectX12 - a new instalment of its long-running graphics Application Programming Interface - at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco last week. During the presentation, Turn 10 software architect Chris Tector played footage of Forza Motorsport 5 running on PC with various DirectX12 benefits enabled.
