That hasn't stopped two DICE designers throwing around some ideas via the platform and giving away some tasty hints as to what future BF4 updates might include. Or perhaps that was their intention all along.
Infinity Ward also plan to issue fixes affecting all players, like spawns.
Infinity Ward has announced some incoming updates to Call of Duty: Ghosts, designed specifically to improve the professional competitive side of the game.
"The feedback we've gotten is pretty valid," says Whitten.
We're still none the wiser as to when the next Xbox One OS update will release, but if Marc Whitten's willingness to talk shop is any indicator, it can't be far off. Fingers crossed.
All eyes on 12th January.

Have you ever "accidentally" changed the TV source while a friend's playing Call of Duty, or "accidentally" brushed the Xbox 360 power button as you cross the room? If the answer's yes, The Farm 51's latest, troll-friendly shooter could be for you. Titled Get Even, it allows online players to sneak into each other's single player games as enemy characters, and put a firm stop to any fun they may be having.
We're going back, back to the island.
You know what the definition of insanity is? It's passing up the chance to play not one but several rather good games when the opportunity presents itself.
