Added: 01.04.2015 19:00 | 8 views | 0 comments

Sunset Overdrive, the blast-tastic open-world shooter from Insomniac Games (which we gave a sparkling 5/5 review last year), has been given a righteous price slash from $60 to $40.

The Xbox One exclusive, launched in late October, has seen various sales that may have pushed the price tag below the $40 point, but now, we may see even a more significant push below that mark with this permanent price drop. All the better, really, since all Xbox One owners deserve to nab a copy of the game.

A Guide to Choosing Your Class in Pillars of Eternity

Added: 01.04.2015 16:00 | 3 views | 0 comments

When you first boot up Pillars of Eternity, you may be overwhelmed by the sheer number of options at the character creation screen. I know because I was there just a week ago.

During the past several days I have been neck deep in this special cRPG adventure (which we gave a stellar 4.5/5 stars in our review). I've learned a lot along the way, especially when it comes to classes. If I could go back and do it all again I would do things differently, namely on how I structured my main character. To prevent you from feeling the same way, I've put together a guide that will not only introduce you to each class and give you an idea of what they're about, but how well they perform as your main character.

Yesterday, Nintendo announced it would be holding a Direct broadcast on April 1... which is today! I don't know about you, but every time the Big N announces one of these things, I regress to my early childhood years, as I feel the juvenile excitement bubble up within my inmost being. As such, I'd like to take a moment to speculate as to what may be revealed during today's Nintendo Direct. That is, if you'd be so kind as to humor me.

This box rox my sox.

Leonardo da Vinci once said, "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." Leonardo the Ninja Turtle once said, "Cowabunga!" I believe I said both at some point while playing , the clever and addicting puzzler whose simplistic design challenges you with the not-so-simple task of getting from Point A to Point B.
