The v1.36 update contains numerous bug fixes and improvements, most important of which is full multiplayer compatibility with the released version of Storms of Steel. This update brings Awakening the Bear owners up to the same level as Storms of Steel in terms of bug fixes and improvements, but does not include all the new features, units and scenarios from Ghost Divisions and Storms of Steel. It also features many other improvements: an audio notification when a player posts a new chat message in lobby, easier tutorial scenarios, terrain sculpting in the editor, improved handling of group and loaded unit effects and more.
The update also offers also two Rules Changes: when the target of a Rally Attempt or Auto Rally card is in an active group, the entire group is the target of the card and in the Classic AP playstyle, using the pass action now finishes the activation of the currently selected unit(s).
The v1.11 update fixes some bugs in the graphics, in the game logic , events and several issues with the units database. It also features improvements in the AI (which is less aggressive in some instances, is less prone to siege with cavalry and more), Data and Modding options. Furthermore the multiplayer campaign now has the 3 allies not sharing the field of view.
The v1.0.5 Update fixes a serious issue with restoring saved games that were made during the DOW sub-phase Setting Up Reserve Units, a problem with Breaking Down units where some divisions were shown as possible choices even though their combat factors were too high and fixes a critical issue with Production when using Unlimited Breakdown and there were units in the Breakdown Pool that had to be reformed.
The update also modifies the range for a naval unit that starts its move in a port so the range does not exceed its movement points, adds another check for available oil before creating the Use Oil form, modifies the Production Planning form and adds a PDF and JPG files for the 2D10 Land Combat Results Table to the Manuals folder for MWIF.
The v1.0.4.1 update includes a number of bug and crash fixes focused on NetPlay games, some auto-save issues and a port attack bugs. The update also adds some gameplay improvements like better calculation of oil needed to reorganize cruisers and also improves the performance of the Seeking Opponent database server for NetPlay.
